3 (Not So Simple) Steps to Make a Successful Impact on Stages

Think of who makes stage work look easy. Now, think of yourself on stage. YOU are all that matters! YOU hold the mic!

The 3 steps to prepare for success:

  1. Look the Part
  2. Be ready to engage with the audience
  3. Know your stuff

These steps sound obvious. But when we get sidetracked with the business of the event: getting paid, the location, the time, who will be there, and the weather… we can forget the ‘obvious little things’.

No matter if you're a comedian, singer, motivational speaker, or classroom teacher… you can loose your audience with something as small as reading your material directly from a notepad.

Wait… that's pretty BIG! You definitely don't want to do that.

Being prepared and having a defined purpose and identity is key when hitting any stage. It makes you relatable and authentic. Which means your chance of success is optimized.

Now go break a leg!
